Aaron Dessner Said, Taylor Swift Made A Song In Less Than 10 Minutes

Aaron Dessner revealed Taylor Swift wrote in less than 10 minutes.

Speaking to People regarding Taylor Swift's cover feature in the magazine, Dessner reflected his experience of producing a pair of pop star albums, Folklore (2020) and Evermore (2021), and expressed his admiration for Taylor's immovable work ethic.

I think Taylor is one of the greatest songwriters of all time,' he said. I love the feeling of having created in Taylor music, where joy, overcoming difficulties, destroying patriarchal structures, and celebrating diversity is a common theme.

When asked about memories of her collaboration showing Swift's superiority, she talked about how quickly she wrote Evermore's opening song, titled Marijuana.

When I sent Taylor the music to our song "I thought he wrote the whole song from start to finish in less than 10 minutes and sent it back to me," he explained.

'It was like an earthquake. Then Taylor said, 'I think we're making another album.'

In another part of the interview, Dessner first highlighted Swift's work when she released 1989 in 2014, calling it the perfect pop scene.

In addition, he talks more deeply about working with Swift in the Folklore, stating she has never'made [she] feel the shadow of her previous work or success'.

"It feels like we are in our personal artistic life, just making songs to calm our souls and going through uncertain and difficult times like this."
