Carrying a Humanitarian Mission, as1one Debuts as the First Joint Israeli and Palestinian Music Group

JAKARTA - History will be created with as1one which is planned to debut in the near future. For the first time, there is a boy group consisting of Israeli and Palestinian members.

Meanwhile, as1one members consist of six young men. Four of them are Israeli citizens, and the remaining two are Palestinians.

Those who are Palestinian are Sadik Dogosh (20) and Aseel Farah (22). Meanwhile, those who are Israeli citizens are Neta Rozenblat (22), Nadav Philips (23), Niv Lin (22), and Ohad Attia (22).

According to Billboard, Aseel Farah stated that they wanted to carry out a humanitarian mission through this joint Israeli and Palestinian group.

“We don't want to be political. We just want to bring humanity," said Aseel Farah.

So far, as1one is known to have undergone the recording process for his debut album. The recording was carried out some time ago in Los Angeles, United States.

In the process of working on the album, as1one underwent studio sessions with two producers and songwriters, Jenna Andrews and Stephen Kirk. Both of them are the figures behind the songs Butter and Permission To Dance from BTS.

Telling about the difficult moments during the studio session, Neta Rozenblat said that the members were processing amidst the news of the deaths of their friends and family. It is known that eight people who were friends and family of the personnel had died as a result of the Israeli and Palestinian conflict in recent times.

“The hardest moment was during the studio session. I was told two of my friends were killed, Niv was also told his friend was killed. "There were lots of painful stories during the session," said Neta Rozenblat.

“How crazy it was when I received hugs from Palestinians when my Israeli friend died,” said Niv Lin.

“That's our story,” he stressed.

Currently, what as1one is talking about is not just becoming a big group and known to many people, they want something like the Nobel Peace Prize.
