Taylor Swift Concert Promoter In Brazil Admits He Has Tried To Communicate With The Victim's Family

JAKARTA - Taylor Swift's concert in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil on November 17 local time left deep sorrow. A young man named Ana Clara Benevides died after being taken to hospital due to extreme hot weather.

The Time For Fun (T4F) as the concert promoter apologized officially and expressed his condolences to the families of the deceased.

In an official statement made on Thursday, November 23, T4F admitted that the incident of the audience's death was the first time in an event they had held.

"But this doesn't change the fact that, for the first time in more than 40 years of operation, we recorded casualties at an event hosted by T4F," Time For Fun said in an official statement.

"We were really devastated by the loss of young Ana Clara, although the medical team has provided rapid care and all the efforts made at the event and, then, at the hospital," he continued.

The promoter also claimed to have tried to establish communication with Ana Clara's family and provided any assistance requested. However, the family asked T4F to communicate with the lawyer.

"Since that incident, we have provided ourselves for family members to provide whatever assistance is needed, and we are advised by them to hold conversations with lawyers representing them, who are still in touch with us," T4F said.

"We understand the deep pain of this irreparable loss, we respect the privacy of the family and we strengthen the T4F's willingness to cooperate with families and responsible authorities, who are still trying to determine the cause of death," he continued.

For information, the local police have also summoned the Time For Fun on Wednesday, November 22 to explain the many complaints that came from the audience.
