Voodoo Personnel From The WOB Era Have Different Opinions About The Creator Of The Song Salam For Him

JAKARTA - Salam Untuk Dia merupakan lagu yang membuat nama Voodoo sebagai salah satu band rock menjadi dipertimbangkan. Lagu tersebut berada dalam album WOB (Wis Ojo terjelas) yang dirilis tahun 1995.

At that time, Voodoo consisted of Ophie Danzo (vocals), Edo Widiz (guitar), Atenk RS (bass), and Ossa Sungkar (drums).

However, the personnel have other opinions about the songwriter from Salam Untuk Dia.

This difference stems from Edo Widiz's statement on YouTube Ferdy ELEMENT some time ago. He said Ossa Sungkar was not the sole creator of the song.

Not agreeing with what Edo Widiz said, Ossa Sungkar told how the song was created.

"At that time in 1994, maybe around December. At that time I returned from the studio where Voodono was training. In the afternoon I went up the Metro Mini, and in the middle of the road I was satung, "said Ossa Sungkar, launching YouTube Ophie Danzo, Wednesday, November 22.

Ossa admitted that she continued to remember the breathing on top of Metromini and then recorded it with a Walkman (portable audio player) upon arrival at home. Next, he completed the ride by making lyrics.

The former Voodoo drummer admitted that he was helped when he found a chord to accompany the song. However, he still feels as the sole creator of the song Salam Untuk Dia.

"Then, I put that tone down. Because I can't play guitar, I'm looking for a match with a friend in management. But that doesn't mean he's the one looking for the chord, it means he's the creator," he said.

What Ossa said was agreed by Ophie Danzo. The former vocalist of Voodoo claimed to be a witness that Ossa Sungkar was the sole creator of the song Salam Untuk Dia.

"I still feel that the song was created by Ossa purely. Even though at that time I helped, like I gave intro, I only helped and I was not the creator," concluded Ophie Danzo.
