Raissa Ramadhani Shares Rindu Through A Single Thousand Hugs

JAKARTA - Raissa Ramadhani released a new single entitled A Thousand Hugs on October 13 last week. The song is the third release under the auspices of Sony Music Entertainment Indonesia.

Meanwhile, a thousand hugs tells the story of the feeling of being left behind by someone we love forever. The remaining longing will never be conveyed directly.

This song is about longing for someone who has gone forever. Initially, when I got this song, my thoughts didn't lead to that. Only after the recording, I was asked about the impression of this song," said Raissa Ramadhani in her statement.

"I also said that during the recording, this song continued to remind me of my late mother. Then, when it was heard again, everyone agreed," he continued.

The recording process runs for two months, from workshops, take demonstrations, to recordings. Although there are some improvements, Raissa's process can be said to have found no significant difficulties.

Menurut Raissa, single ketiga ini cukup berbeda dari dua lagu sebelumnya, baik dari segi koncept maupun gaya musik yang digusung..Dua lagu aku sebelumnya terasa loomy dan ketergangan. Untuk Seribu Hukuman dibuat lebih sederhana, tapi dengan suasaan yang terasa lebih menyusar. Dengan musik yang symplena, diharapkan kenduan yang kita rasakan kepada orang tercintung yang sudah pergi melangi kita akan benar-benar terasa, tutur penyanyi yang akrab disapa Icha itu.

Along with the release of a Thousand Hugs, Raissa also expressed her hopes to be able to release the song she created herself.

"Currently, I actually have several songs in the draft, but I still need to be tampered with again so that it is worth releasing and can be heard by the public," said Raissa Ramadhani.

"Of course, I want this song to be well received, representing the feelings of those who miss their loved ones, but can only convey it through prayer," he said.
