New Study Reveals Band Most Likely To Make People Sad

JAKARTA - Music is known as one of the most encouraging media that anyone can ask for. Even though the world's burden is too heavy for most people, thousands of listeners find entertainment through their favorite artists, offering friends when their life looks gloomy. Although many artists try to make music attractive and passionate, other times, artists get the opposite results to their fans.

When talking about the saddest of all time, thousands of people are automatically interested in the dark side of music. Even though artists like The Cure are heralded as kings of the dark genre, their music is known to be able to raise the spirits of their fans, where Robert Smith talks about his eternal love for his colleagues in songs such as Just Like Heaven and Friday I'm In Love.

The metal world has also been questioned many times about its sad impact on listeners. Although many bands may want to make the most significant music to imagine, sonic darkness often helps eliminate the darkness in their souls, as Metallica guitarist Kirk Hammett remembers in Metal Evolution.

While artists like Linkin Park may have created a song as a means of dealing with their pain, the tragic death of band singer Chester Bennington provided a dark sheath around his lyrics, knowing that the vocalist ultimately lost the battle with his demon. Although an artist may write a song with the aim of releasing all his hidden frustration, sadness also comes from an interpretation given by listeners to the song without the knowledge of its creator.
