JAKARTA - Mario G Klau is confirmed to be one of the national standard musicians who will appear at the Move It Fest Kupang on 7 October. The 25-year-old singer who was born in Maumere, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) will be on the same stage as a local musician who will also appear.

In a press conference in Kebayoran Baru today, Monday, September 25, the Ecko Show, which will also appear at the Move It Fest Kupang, said that Mario G Klau would appear without a penny being paid.

"It's not just the ticket of Rp. 0, the national performer, Mario is also paid Rp. 0," said Ecko Show.

What Mario did by not receiving payment is clear evidence from him to support the better music ecosystem in Eastern Indonesia. Especially for his homeland, he wants Kupang musicians and their surroundings to also get the opportunity to appear on the big stage and be seen by more people.

Mario himself saw changes in his mind from local musicians in NTT. With the presence of several singers such as Andmesh Kamaleng, Marion Jola and himself who managed to penetrate the national market, he saw local musicians in NTT become increasingly challenged to become more advanced. Therefore, Move It Fest is one of the events he supports to help local musicians achieve their dreams.

Currently, local musicians in NTT are more daring to dream big. Seeing the successful presence of NTT-born singers in Jakarta, local musicians are starting to challenge themselves to be more advanced, "said Mario Glau.
