JAKARTA - Motley Crue guitarist John 5 spoke to Meltdown of the Detroit WRIF radio station about three new songs he and his bandmates wrote earlier this year with legendary producer Bob Rock.

"I don't know when those songs will come out, but everything is planned. Everything is mapped and structured, and everything is, 'We will do it here and there.',' and bla, bla, bla, bla," said John 5.

"So the song was recorded, mixed, mastered. And very good. I can't wait for the song to come out. It's really cool. I'm very excited," he continued.

"Who knows what will happen? I don't know if we're just going to release a single or album. It's up to them, so I don't know. We just recorded and saw what happened. But these are the songs we recorded that are so cool; the weight and melody make everyone fascinated by these songs."

Asked how much input he got during the songwriting process, this is what John 5.

"We all sat in one room and did it together. Because Nikki and I [Sixx, bassist Motley Crue] have been writing songs together for years. So that's nothing new," John 5 explained.

"And Tommy [Lee, drummer Motley Crue] also often works in the studio together. So it's not new to being in the studio, but it's a new thing with Bob Rock," he continued.

"What's really wild is that we are in a room... It feels like it used to be, my friend," he explained. You go into the live room and there's my amplIES and there's a Nikki amplion and there's a Tommy drum, there's a microphone... Because I'm used to just playing in the control room. And it's like, 'Oh no, no, no. We're all going into this room and playing.' And that's how we record it. "

"It's amazing. I've never recorded anything like this before. And this is probably one of the best experiences I've ever recorded. It's really fun. I have to, like, make a not and all this stuff, and we're just playing it. It's amazing."
