Yoshiki Becomes The First Japanese Artist To Be Worshipd In Cement At TCL Chinese Theater Hollywood

JAKARTA - Japan's iconic and loved Superstar, Yoshiki, will leave its mark in a lively printing ceremony at the TCL Chinese Theater Hollywood.

Yoshiki is one of more than 300 artists in the nearly 100 years history of the iconic Chinese Theater receiving this prestigious award.

Yoshiki made history by becoming the first Japanese artist to be immortalized in cement since the theater began this Hollywood tradition in 1927.

This versatile musician will join the list of exclusive legendary celebrities, including Steven Spielberg, George Lucas, Marilyn Monroe, John Wayne, Brad Pitt, George Clooney, Robert totaling, Jr., Hugh Jackman and Vin Diesel when he laid his hands and footprints on the cement of Hollywood Boulevard.

The composer has sold more than 30 million albums and singles and has sold out concert tickets in Tokyo Dome with a capacity of 55,000 seats, breaking records 18 times with his band X JAPAN.

"Yoshiki: Under The Sky", a documentary film directed and starring the musician (showing The Chainsmokers, St. Vincent, Sarah Brightman, Scorpions, Lindsey Stirling, Nicole Scherzinger, and many more) also premiered at Hollywood on TCL Chinese Theater on Thursday, September 14.

Yoshiki returned to Los Angeles on October 20 for a classic concert at The Dolby Theater.

The guest speakers for the event included Gene Simmons (KISS) and Lee Byung-hun ("Squid Game").
