Dewa 19 Featuring All Stars: Tyo Nugros' Accompaniment Power In The Middle Of 5 Star Musicians

JAKARTA - The rock band Dewa 19 successfully rocked the stage of the Gelora Bung Karno (GBK) Jakarta Main Stadium by bringing a series of five-star vocalists at a stadium tour concert titled Dewa 19 19 Featuring All Stars, Saturday night.

Starting the concert at 19.45 WIB, Dewa 19 appeared astonishing by cooperating with the best vocalists in the country, including Ari Lasso, Virzha, Ello, Tyo Nugros, Sandhy Sondoro, and Lyodra.

Not only domestic vocalist series, at the concert Ahmad Dhani cs. also recognized international caliber musicians Dino Jelusick (vocalist and keyboardist for Whitesnake), Orang Kotzen (exact guitarist Mr. Big), Derek Shererian (ex keyboardist Dream Theater), and Phil X (guitarist Bon Jovi).

In addition to the best vocalist series, Dewa 19 also invited their former drummer, Tyo Nugros, who appeared on several songs such as Life, namely Struggle, Two Sedjoli, Wanting to Make Love, Dewi, Elang, and Covering Hearts.

The presence of Tyo clearly provides its own capacitors for spectators who come from women's groups. It is proven that when the big screen on the right and left sides of the stage displays the action and looks of the drummer, it is immediately shouted by the audience at GBK.

This concert is also getting special because the organizers pinned the LED bracelets worn by around 85 thousand spectators to display a variety of colors including red, blue, purple, orange, and green according to the theme on each song.

After vocalist Ari Lasso appeared in the first appearance session, it was the turn of international stars to fill the concert stage. How come Kotzen performed perfectly playing his signature click-lick while singing. Behind the keyboard, Derek Sherenian, who accompanied Ahmad Dhani's arrangement.

Meanwhile, standing on the side of the bass player Dewa 19 Yuke Sampurna, Phil X was present. The aggressive playing style of guitarist Bon Jovi, who often runs here and plays his long hair, has proven to be effective in captivating the hearts of the audience.

"Good night, Jakarta. I know you can sing loudly. Do you know this song?" said Dino Jelusick, before singing Queen's two numbers, namely Bohemian Rhapsody andria to Love.

At this concert, Dino also kicked the attention of the audience when performing Arjuna's songs with English lyrics in theverse and Indonesian language at the refrain session which had already been performed on the previous stage.

The Dewa 19 19 19 Featuring All Stars concert, which was driven by Otello Asia x Redline Kreasindo this time, is the largest first collaboration concert in the history of the band Dewa 19 in Indonesia and is a new history of stadium-scale concerts featuring a series of legendary musicians in the world.

Before holding a concert at GBK last night, Dewa 19 Featuring All Stars successfully entertained Baladewa and Baladewi at Manahan Stadium, Solo, last Saturday 29 July. After appearing at GBK, Dewa 19 tour with world musicians will continue to Si Jalak Harupat Stadium, Bandung, 19 August.
