JAKARTA - Paul Rodgers, iconic vocalist, songwriter and founding member of the legendary rock band Bad Company, released a new single titled Take Love.

The song was taken from his upcoming album, Midnight Rose, which is scheduled to attend September 22 through Sun Records.

This is Rodgers' first full-length music solo album in nearly 25 years.

With an elegant line of lyrics supported by a speeding guitar and booming drums, Rodgers' vocals are the center of attention here.

Mastered in Dolby Atmos' spatial audio packaging, fans will recognize the song Take Love which was taken from the tour setlist during his tenure with Queen.

Last month, Paul released the first single from this album, namely Living It Up.

Meanwhile, the album of these eight songs is a collection of all the new original music written entirely by Rodgers, except Living It Up, co-authored by Rodgers and bassist of his band Todd Ronning, and drummer Rick Fedyk.

Midnight Rose was produced by Cynthia Rodgers and Bob Rock, and recorded at Roper Recording and The Warehouse over the past 18 months with a unique album artwork contributed by Paul and his 26-year-old girlfriend Cynthia.

"My new album Midnight Rose grew from the spark of the idea I had," Rodgers said in an official statement.

"Percikan berkembang menjadi api yang merangkapi ketika band dan semua orang yang terlibat membawa permainan 'A' absolutely mereka. Saya pikir ini adalah album terbaik saya hingga saat ini, saya menyukainya. Saya harap Anda juga."
