JAKARTA - Taylor Hawkins' tribute concert was nominated for the Emmy Awards. This is one of five nominations in the "Outstanding Sound Mixing For A Variety Series Or Special" category.

Directed by Joel Gallen and produced by Emer Patten for EP-PIC Films & Creative, the concert was recorded live on September 3, 2022 at Wembley Stadium in London.

The event competed with U2 Bono & The Edge: A Sort Of Homecoming With Dave Letterman, Elton John Live: Farewell Fromten Stadium, The 65th Annual Grammy Awards, and Saturday Night Live.

Hawkins, who played drums with Foo Fighters from 1997, died in March 2022 at the age of 50.

The concert, which sold out, has hosted 90,000 people in the stadium and watched live broadcasts by millions of people around the world.

The six-hour tribute concert features Foo Fighters with Hawkins friends, my friends, and his then 16-year-old son, Shane.

Liam Gallagher started the music presentation that night, performing two classic songs of Oasis with Foo Fighters members, while Chad Smith of the Red Hot Chili Peppers shared a touching video story.

Later, Grohl's teenage daughter Violet went on stage to perform Jeff Buckley's songs, accompanied by her father, Queens Of The Stone Age and Alain Johannes of Them Crooked Cultures and Chris totaled Jane's Addiction.

That night witnessed Them Crooked Cultures reunite for the first time in 12 years, while Supergrass performed three songs for their "heavy fans", Hawkins.

Lars Ulrich of Metallica and Brian Johnson of AC/DC joined in two AC/DC covers, while Mark Ronson and Violet Grohl covered Valerie's songs.

Brian May and Queen's Roger Taylor then joined Foo Fighters for five songs, while Joe Walsh of The Eagles led the James Gang reunion in their first live appearance in 16 years.

Calling them the "one band I've always linked to Taylor Hawkins", Grohl joined the surviving Rush member Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson on stage to bring together some of the biggest hits of the progressive rock legend.

The last set of the night featured Paul McCartney, Travis Barker, Nandi Bushell, focus Taylor (son of Roger Taylor), Josh Freese and Devo joining Foo Fighters performing Times Like These, All My Life, The Pretender, Monkeyign, Learn to Fly, These Days, Best Of You, Aurora, My Hero, and Everlong.
