JAKARTA - The legendary band Element has released a rearrangement of their song titled “ Sadar Without You ” on June 16. The song is part of their album titled “ Dialogue ”.
The band is now with the latest formations of Ferdy Tahier (Vokalis), Arya Dei (Guitarist), Fajar Maringka (Kibordis), Didi Riyadi (Drumer), Lucky Widja (Vokalis) and Adhitya Pratama (Guitarist).
Realizing Yourself is their song that was previously released for the first time in 2004. In its initial release, the song had 2 versions, namely piano versions and string versions.
In this remastered version, Element combines the first two versions into a new song. Wrapped with the harmonic feel of the vocalist duo, it adds to the atmosphere of the song being more romantic in the stories of today's dusk songs that are rife in Indonesia.
The selection of a single, which was remastered by Element, was the result of a joint decision by its personnel.
“ In a joint training schedule a few months ago, we tried to re-hear our songs on the DIALOG album. When I heard the song Awareness Without Yourself, my mind immediately crossed my mind, why not combine two versions into one into something new? ” Lucky Widja said in a press release received in Jakarta, Antara, Sunday, June 18.
“ With vocal harmonization that Lucky can maximize, it can add to the number of interesting sound fragments in the song, making it sound catchy and contemporary, ” said Arya Dei.
From the beginning of the album Dialogue was released, the songwriter, Ferdy Tahier, was very confident in the ability of this song to become a single. He immediately agreed with the remastered plan.
"This song was actually strong enough to be used as the 3rd single at the time of the 2004 album release, but unfortunately at that time a song that had this nuance in its day was only treated as a complementary song from an album," explained Ferdy.
Didi Riyadi also admitted that he was quite enthusiastic about the remastered song on their 4th album.
"I myself hope that this song can be accepted and exploded in the market. So if it's a gig session, it's okay, I can break while inviting the audience to sing with us," he said.
In closing, Adhitya Pratama explained that ELEMENT will again show its defenses in the Indonesian music scene and is very excited about this.
