Duet Beauty And The Best, Ahmad Dhani And Raisa Launch To Become Memories

JAKARTA - Opening the first collaboration of #GeminiGenk at the 51st year concert of the Kingdom of Cinta Ahmad Dhani, JUNI Records released "Let's Become Memories on all digital streaming platforms (DSP)" on Thursday.

Created by Ahmad Dhani, the original version of this song was performed by Reza Artamevia on the album Kalimantan (2000), duet with Masaki Ueda (Japan).

To Be A Memories is one of Raisa's favorite songs since she was in school and only recently found out that this song was by Ahmad Dhani.

"Because this is a really cool song and when Mas Dhani invited a duet for his concert, I'm really happy to be able to sing this song," Raisa said in an official statement received by VOI, Friday.

The process of cultivating this single was carried out one month before the concert took place. Recorded at Ahmad Dhani's studio with Barsena as vocal director.

Meanwhile, for the music side, work on by S/EEK, a collection of producers who helped realize #GeminiGenk's collaboration as a producer.

"I'm waiting for the right time for this duet to be released. The conversation was quite long between me, Mas Dhani and Raisa. Until we had the WA group and even had time to disband, because it was thought that this project could not really work," said Adryanto Pratono, CEO of JUNI Records, the label that houses Raisa.

"After the busyness of Raisa's SUGBK and Mas Dhani concerts with Dewa19 actively concerts here and there, it feels like this is the time. In my opinion, this special thing is beyond custom, bringing Raisa together with Ahmad Dhani directly," he continued.

JUNI Records also considers this project exciting and different from other collaborations. In particular, Adryanto feels that this collaboration is harmonious even though it involves musicians across generations.

"Mas Dhani and Raisa are both exploring. Especially to find a middle ground for the vocal range of the two of them," he concluded.
