Now, drummer Nick Mason has given his opinion about re-released the album and confirmed that he has heard footage of the project.

"I heard rumors that Roger was working on his own version," he said while speaking at the screening of The Dark Side Of The Moon, at Dolby Atmos Immersive Studio London.

"There is a suggestion that this will be a spoiler and Roger will face the original version and so on," he continued.

"He really sent me a copy of what he was working on and I wrote to him and said, 'It's annoying, it's absolutely brilliant!' It used to be and now. It's not anything that's going to be a spoiler for the real thing at all, it's an interesting addition to that.

As for Mason himself, currently collaborating with Gary Kemp from Spandau Ballet, and performing the song Pink Floyd as the band Nick Mason's Saucerful Of Secrets.
