JAKARTA - John 5 took to social media to distribute the full guitar rig he would use for his upcoming tour as a Motley Crue tour guitarist.

In the clip, the former guitarist Rob Zombie and Marilyn Manson is seen showing off various Fender Forecasters equipped with Floyd Rose, Gibson Acoustic guitar full of Atkins SST, as well as head Marshall JVM, Marshall cabinet, speaker rack simulator and pedalboard consisting of Boss pedal.

Motley Crue did her first drill with John 5 on January 23 in preparation for the band's upcoming show with Def Leppard.

Shortly thereafter, Motley's bassist Crue Nikki Sixx wrote on his Twitter: "Wow, this is amazing.

"@john5guitarist joined the training and we just devoured the setlist from top to bottom smoothly. It took 90 minutes and then a few hours later we just laughed and told the story of a stupid rockstar war.

"@MotleyCrue Day 1".

He followed up with an Instagram Story post thanking the band crew and saying that "today sounds crazy."

John 5 joins Motley Crue as a substitute for founder guitarist Mick Mars, who has stepped down from the 'road' due to health problems.

In October last year, Mars announced he would no longer tour the legendary rock band because of his long struggles with degenerate ankylosing spondylitis disease.

Mars himself is still a secure guitarist for Motley Crue and is still taking part when the band returns to the studio to record new material.
