The Weeknd Will Fill Avatar: The Way Of Water

JAKARTA - Singer The Weeknd teased fans with a new teaser. Through his latest post, he is suspected of filling the soundtrack for Avatar: The Way of Water.

The 12-second video clip shows an A logo with a bird in the middle. The sound of harmonization and the melody was heard throughout the video.

12.16.22 seen at the end of the video hinting at the release date of this song. Logo A itself is a typical font used by the film Avatar: The Way of Water.

Moments later, The Weeknd retweeted the caption AvatarTheWayOfWater x @theWeeknd confirming his involvement in the film.

This isn't the first time The Weeknd has filled the soundtrack of a film. In 2014, he sang Earned It for the film Fifty Shades of Gray.

Then in 2018, The Weeknd became the filler of Black Panther's theme song titled Pray for Me withiplinya. He also performed the song Game of Thrones, The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, and others.

Meanwhile, James Cameron presents a sequel to Avatar's film The Way of Water 13 years after his first film. "I like to explore the sea when I'm not making films. So if I can combine two things I love - the sea and the film, why not?" said James Cameron.Avatar: The Way of Water tells the story of Jake way who lives with his family in Pandora. One time, Jake had to work with Neytiri and the Navi army to protect their planet. Avatar: The Way of Water will release on December 16.
