JAKARTA - Musician, arranger and record producer Gerald Situmorang will enter a decade of his career in the country's music industry. This moment counts from the release of GeSit's first band debut album - as this fictional musician and producer is called -, Sketsa entitled Childhood's Dream on January 31, 2010.

With this date as a reference, GeSit also took the initiative to hold Always Changing: A Decade of Gerald Situmorang, a series of 7 shows in 7 days non-stop, starting from Monday, January 27 to Sunday, February 2, 2020 in Jakarta and around South Tangerang. .

In this series, GeSit will present all the music projects he has strengthened in 10 years of work. Starting from Gerald Situmorang & Sri Hanuraga - META, Hermiola Quartet, Gerald Situmorang Trio, Barasuara, Gerald Situmorang Dimensions, Gerald Situmorang Sollitude, to GeSit's first band, Sketsa.

"The idea is from me. At that time, last year, Marco (Barasuara drummer) commented "I miss you playing Jazz again" in one of my posts. A total of 30 musicians and 70 songs will be performed in Always Changing: A Decade of Gerald Situmorang. With one of the points, which features the Gerald Situmorang Trio, GeSit will insert a clinic guitar into his performance.
