JAKARTA - The Ministry of Law and Human Rights (Kemenkumham) held a Thanksgiving and Award Commemoration of Kemenkumham Day, 77th Dharma Karya Dhika (HDKD) 2022, Thursday, August 18 evening in Jakarta. With the theme, Shining Kumham: A Million Dreams, Kemenkumkam conveys the message that Insan Pengayoman uses dreams as an impetus to continue to innovate in responding to the challenges of an ever-evolving task.

All ranks are united in bringing the Ministry of Law and Human Rights to be more advanced. This is inspired by a wise quote from the Minister of Law and Human Rights (Menkumham) Yasonna H. Laoly, “Big changes are born from within. Always thirsty to work and make dreams come true.”

This is also in line with the theme of this year's HDKD, which is "With the Spirit of Togetherness, We Improve the Performance of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights to be more DEFINITELY and with CHARACTER".

This event featured a slick collaboration in the art of songs and dances created by the Archipelago of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights and Correctional Inmates (WBP) from the Jakarta Women's Correctional Institution (Lapas). WBP shows their artistic skills as a result of the coaching they received while serving their sentence in prison.

No less interesting, the activity also featured Farel Prayoga, a 12-year-old boy who went viral with the song Ojo Dibandingke at the 77th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia at the State Palace, Wednesday, August 17. Farel's presence was not only to entertain the participants, but was appointed as the Intellectual Property Ambassador of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights for the Student category. The reason is, Farel is considered to have been able to bring the traditional music of campursari to be liked by the general public.

Not only Farel, the composer of the song Ojo Dibandingke, Agus Purwanto alias Abah Lala was also present to receive a charter or letter of song creation. Previously, although the song has gone viral, the copyright for the song has not been registered. “Hopefully Farel can inspire children to work and do art. And if you already have a work, immediately register the copyright," said the Minister of Law and Human Rights.

Sprinkled with art, the event also featured the famous singer Andmesh Kamaleng. Not wanting to be left behind, the Menkumham and Deputy Menkumham Edward OS Hiariej also demonstrated their singing skills.

Not only displaying works of art, the peak night of Kemenkumham Day was also filled with awarding activities for the best employees and partners of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights, both ministries/institutions and the private sector. Also the submission of business and human rights certificates for several companies.

Proudly, the Ministry of Law and Human Rights also accepted the submission of the Indonesian World Record Museum (MURI) record. This record was recorded for the implementation of E-Sport activities and virtual runs.

The opportunity was also used to launch the Electronic-Based Health Service (E-Yankes) application and the Electronic-Based State Loss Settlement Information System (E-SIPKN). This application is the result of an innovation by the Ministry of Law and Human Rights in order to improve the quality of public services.

“Continue to work, innovate, and be creative, but still everything must be done in stages, transparently, and accountable. Continue to be committed and consistently contribute to the progress of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights," concluded the Minister of Law and Human Rights.
