JAKARTA - The biggest Hip Hop Festival in Indonesia, FLAVS will soon be held on 10-11 September 2022 at Istora Senayan. Back in its third year, this festival carries the theme of Revival which marks the revival of music festivals.

Therefore, they decided to make a line up of the festival filled with local musicians. This is different from the plan in the previous year where they hooked several international musicians.

"We are in a transition period, so it is still possible for them to travel and quarantine. It's risky to come," said M. Riza as Festival Director at the FLAVS press conference today, Tuesday, June 7.

“This is a revival for the festival. Where do we know the festivals have started to move. So industry players have started to rise again," added Yacko as Program Director.

Today, Tuesday, June 7, FLAVS announced the first phase line-up consisting of local musicians from Hip Hop, Soul, and R&B.

The FLAVS Festival line-up consists of Afgan, Basboi, Blakumuh, Block8, Ghetto Side, Insthinc, Iwa K, Januarta The Goat, and Joe Million.

Then there are Juicy Lucicy, Mukarakat, NDXAKA, Negative One, Oranghutan Squad, Raisa, Ramengvrl, Rizky Febian, and Saykoji.

In addition there are T-Five, Teza Sumendra, The Couch Club, Tiara Andini, Tuan Tigabelas - Rep, Wasaka, and Yura Yunita.

“At least you have to take turns playing in FLAVS. But we also see pop, R&B, and Soul (musicians) which are definitely not only from Jakarta," said Yacko.

This year, FLAVS will carry the Hybrid concept where the audience can watch the stage online and offline. They also ensure that many new Hip Hop stars appear in this festival.

"What is the meaning of OG (original gangster) if there is no regeneration," added Yacko.

Tickets for the FLAVS Festival have gone on sale as of today, Tuesday, June 7 via the official website flavs.id. Viewers can purchase Early Bird tickets for 2 days for IDR 250,000 while supplies last.
