BNI Records Transaction Volume Of IDR 5.7 Billion During The BNI Java Jazz 2022

JAKARTA - PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk or BNI (BBNI) recorded a transaction volume of IDR 5.7 billion during the 3-day BNI Java Jazz Festival 2022. This achievement rose 21.9 percent from the transaction volume of BNI Java Jazz 2020.

BNI Corporate Secretary Mucharom explained that the increase in digital transactions during the Jazz music event occurred in all products, including BNI Tapcash electronic money, which rose 12.9 percent, debit cards increased by 53 percent, and credit cards increased by 53.4 percent. In fact, the newest payment method, the Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard (QRIS) rose 417.6 percent.

"We are satisfied with the completion of BNI Java Jazz 2022. We see that the digital transaction adaptation of the community continues to occur and is getting more mature. The achievement of this transaction performance is also BNI's capital to record better performance in the second quarter of this year," he said in an official statement, Wednesday 1 June.

Mucharom continued that at the latest biggest jazz concert in Indonesia, BNI not only prepared digital channels, but also instilled the reliability of its information technology bank end system. This makes the transaction bubble at the event run very smoothly.

Beyond that, the payment ecosystem at concerts is encouraged to use digital transactions accompanied by various promos and attractive attention programs.
