We Close 2019 With "JACKBOYS", The Full Album Of Collaboration From Travis Scott

JAKARTA - Up-and-coming rapper Travis Scott releases his first music project as well as a cover in 2019. A compilation album entitled "JACKBOYS" is released today, December 27th. Scott has teased this album since last November through a video trailer and merchandise. Then, on Christmas day, Scott uploaded a video trailer and release date.

"JACKBOYS" is a collaboration between Scott and well-known artists. The visual artwork was done by Harmony Korine, the director of the films Spring Breakers and Mid90s. The visual of this album features several people wearing neon green headgear and standing in front of a car.

This compilation album contains songs that have been released and then remixed. The songs on this album are also filled with collaborations with other musicians. In the first track "JACKBOYS", HIGHEST IN THE ROOM which was released last October, Scott collaborated with singers Rosalía and Lil Baby. In addition, Sheck Wes, Quavo, Offset, Young Thug, Don Oliver, and Pop Smoke were collaborators on this album.

"JACKBOYS" is ex-boyfriend Kylie Jenner's first release after releasing the album "ASTROWORLD" last year. "JACKBOYS" was also the first release under his record label, Cactus Jack Records. Scott was not entirely less productive, as he contributed to the song Take What You Want with Ozzy Osbourne for Post Malone's album, "Hollywood's Bleeding".

In addition, Scott also held the Astroworld Festival and invited Kanye West, Megan Thee Stallion and Marilyn Manson to the main stage. According to Scott, this album was a side project before he released his fourth studio album.
