Yamaha Holds GTA Bandung, Opening Celebration of 1 Decade of Aerox

JAKARTA - Yamaha successfully held the Aerox Team Gathering (GTA) event in Bandung. This event is not only a gathering event that unites all loyal users and automotive lovers, but is the starting point in welcoming a series of exciting events for the Yamaha Aerox decade, which will take place from May to June in various major cities in Indonesia.

PR, YRA, & Community Manager of PT Yamaha Indonesia Motor Mfg, Rifki Maulana, welcomed the celebration of the tenth anniversary of the Yamaha Aerox, in a special way Yamaha again held the AEROX Team Gathering event as a prelude to excitement.

"Since launching in 2016, from the first generation to the Aerox ALPHA generation that appears MAXimal with YECVT technology, Aerox has managed to prove itself as a lifestyle item for young people. The proliferation of modification culture, night rides, sunmori, and others are just a few manifestations of Aerox's success as a lifestyle item for today's youngsters," he said, in an official statement received, Thursday, April 30.

"Celebrating this special moment, we are also holding GTA as a platform for loyal users to channel their passion. This event is also held in several cities to further strengthen their sense of pride as Aerox users," he added.

Opening the excitement of its first in Bandung, hundreds of participants consisting of loyal users, communities, influencers, and modifiers from across generations of Yamaha Aerox, gathered again to channel their hobby of driving in various exciting activities, as well as enjoying various treats of today's modified anti-mainstream. Located in the parking hall area in Pasir Koja, Bandung city was chosen to host the opening of the Gathering Team AEROX 2026 event, as well as starting the series of celebrations of a decade of Yamaha Aerox in Indonesia. Collaborating with Matic Undercover, the GTA Bandung event offers a modification contest as one of the activities that attract the enthusiasm of many people.

Divided into 21 categories and competition classes, a total of dozens of modifiers, and hundreds of participants from various communities, automotive enthusiasts, and cross-brand users enthusiastically gathered to see firsthand the latest modification offerings created by modifiers with outstanding ideas and concepts. and anti-mainstream on their Yamaha Aerox modifications.

Various ideas and concept modifications of the participants, which were enlivened by the Indo Proper, Vietnam Style, Suspension Set Up, air brush, and other genres, successfully stole the attention of visitors. The creativity of the modifiers was also displayed through various modifications on the motorcycle, ranging from the use of PNP premium spare parts and accessories, CNC exclusive parts, carbon fiber body, and others.

Apart from the anti-mainstream Yamaha Aerox modification, the GTA Bandung event also did not miss to present various entertainment and activities that are interesting for visitors, ranging from fun games with prizes, community sharing sessions, and EDM music performances. Riswan, one of the participants of the GTA Bandung also shared his testimony about this year's Gathering Team AEROX event.

"First of all, I'm very happy to be able to join the excitement at this year's AEROX Team Gathering event. GTA Bandung this year, in my opinion, is really cool, especially being able to witness the journey of a decade of Yamaha AEROX in Indonesia. The vibes are really good, especially when you see the modified results that are out of the box, it really inspires you to modify your own motorcycle," said Riswan.

The excitement of the event was then closed with a night ride activity which was attended by various Aerox communities from various areas of the city of Bandung. As many as hundreds of participants enthusiastically participated in the night ride and walked down the streets of the city which broke the silence of the night. This moment of night ride with all participants also marked the end of the fun of the GTA Bandung event.
