Ipone Launches Katana Series Lubricants and Latest Products at IIMS 2026

JAKARTA - The French lubricant brand Ipone also enlivened the Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS) 2026 exhibition, and made this momentum as an event to launch the Katana Series lubricant products, namely Katana Scoot 5W-40, Katana 15W-50, R4000 15W-50, and R2000 with improved formula to answer the needs of the current market.

Managing Director of PT Motul Indonesia Energy (MIE), Welmart Purba, revealed that Katana Scoot 5W-40 is a 100 percent premium synthetic lubricant for all types of scooters and matic motorcycles, with PAO and Ester technology, this lubricant provides maximum performance, maintains engine cleanliness, and ensures smooth acceleration.

"Making it a lubricant for scooters with ESTER technology is the first in Indonesia. Likewise, KATANA 15W-50 is designed for sport bikes, cruisers, to adventures. Ipone Katana Scoot 5W-40 is a lubricant that offers comfort and performance for daily use. Katana Scoot 5W-40 comes as a premium 100 percent Synthetic lubricant that keeps the engine performance optimal, smooth, and responsive in various driving conditions. Carrying PAO & Ester technology, Katana Scoot is suitable for modern scooters to sports-oriented motorbikes, which require consistent performance.

The next product is Ipon Katana 15W-50 for the use of 4-stroke motorcycles with a sporty character, high performance and supporting an aggressive driving style. Carrying PAO & Ester technology, Katana 15W-50 provides optimal protection at high RPM, maintains engine stability in extreme conditions, and ensures smooth gear shifting.

Next is Ipone R4000 15W-50 which comes as an advanced semi-synthetic lubricant designed to provide optimal protection for the engine in daily use to long-distance touring, with high durability, maintaining engine cleanliness, and stable performance in various driving conditions.
