This Electric Motor Only Takes 15 Minutes To Charge Up To 80 Percent, Reach 220 Km

JAKARTA - The Motorcycles fuel officially introduces Hiro, a streetfighter-style electric motor that is predicted to bring major breakthroughs in the battery-powered two-wheeled vehicle segment. Not only is its aggressive appearance, Hiro offers super fast charging technology that has the potential to change public perceptions of electric motorcycles.

So far, charging time has become a scourge for many potential electric vehicle users. However, the fuel stated that Hiro was able to charge up to a minimum of 80 percent in just 15 minutes, either done at home, office, or public charging stations.

In other words, the time needed is not much different from when you stop for a while to buy coffee or refuel at gas stations. This capability comes thanks to the 12.96 kWh capacity battery combined with the DC fast charging system, as reported by Visordown, Wednesday, December 10.

BBM, which is a startup company from Spain, claims Hiro is capable of producing 94 hp, 110 lb-ft torque, and a range of 220 km in urban use. This figure places Hiro in the ranks of high-performance electric motors but is still practically used every day.

Another uniqueness that Hiro offers is his body material. The exterior panel is made from plant-based materials that are claimed to have carbon fiber equivalent performance, providing better damping, as well as lower carbon footprint.

This approach makes Hiro not only electric-powered, but also more environmentally friendly in terms of construction. Featurely, Hiro is equipped with a front-backward Brembo brake, ABS, to an adjustable regenerative braking system.

Drivers can also manage torque management through traction controls, even fuel says the entire support system can be deactivated for a wilder driving experience for those who want it. For the initial stage, fuel has opened interest registration for potential consumers.

With a 100 euro deposit, customers can secure booking slots as well as start designing Hiro according to their preferences. The bike is scheduled to arrive in July 2026 at a price starting at 16,900 euros, or equivalent to IDR 327 million.
