Harley-Davidson X440T Comes With A New Design Touch For The 2026 Model

JAKARTA - Harley-Davidson introduced X440T as the latest variant of the X440 family with a number of visual updates that made it look more modern and of strong character. Despite its more changes to aesthetics, the model retains the technical foundations that have been known in X440.

The bike was co-produced with Hero MotoCorp for the Asian market, as reported by Visordown, Monday, December 1. One of the most striking changes lies in the back of the bike.

Harley-Davidson provides a denser and more compact seat and stern design, reducing the void between the sub-frame and the rear wheels. This approach creates a more solid silhouette and confirms the identity of X440T as a contemporary roadster-style motor.

The addition of a bar end model mirror also strengthens the character, while the small heat shield on the exhaust pipe becomes a functional element as well as an aesthetic. In terms of color choice, X440T comes with four different, red, black, white, and dark blue options.

These colors are chosen to provide flexibility for motorists in expressing their driving style, while maintaining the feel of Harley-Davidson premium despite being in a more affordable segment.

The X440T engine still carries a single cylinder configuration of 440 cc air-oil cooled which offers a 38 Nm peak torque. Harley-Davidson decided not to make changes to the performance sector, considering the character of the X440 engine is quite mature and is known to have a linear power for daily use or medium-distance travel.

Power is channeled through transmission of six accelerations, while the upside down and twinshock front suspensions behind will remain a mainstay to maintain comfort and stability. In the technology section, X440T is equipped with a TFT instrument panel that supports Bluetooth connectivity.

Drivers can enjoy features such as navigation, music control, to call and message notifications. The presence of this feature shows that despite being in the entry-level segment, Harley-Davidson is still trying to provide the modern driving experience according to current user needs.

For now, X440T is projected specifically for the Asian market, especially India, which is the main area for this model. There has been no confirmation of export potential to other regions. Harley-Davidson has also not released any price information.

However, if you look at the position of the previous model, X440T is predicted to remain in a competitive category to attract riders who want to feel the Harley-Davidson character at a more friendly cost.
