JAKARTA - Honda is again expanding its compact scooter line in Japan through the presence of the Honda Dio Lite 2025. This model is present as a new choice in the scooter segment which offers high fuel efficiency and a more novice driver-friendly design.

From the visual side, Honda brings a new identity to Dio Lite without leaving an elegant and modern character. The main highlight is the Lite emblem placed under the headlights, giving a difference from the standard version. The speedometer panel is also redesigned and there is a speed warning light.

Honda offers three color choices, namely red, black intention, and white which can be adjusted to user preferences. Comfort and ease of control are the main focuses on the 2025 Dio Lite.

Honda also lowered the seat height to 745 mm, or 15 mm lower than the standard model. This decline was obtained thanks to the redesign of the saddle structure without reducing the pading thickness, so it remains comfortable for close-range or daily travel.

With a weight of only 95 kg, this scooter is getting easier to control, especially for small drivers, women, or those who have just learned motorbikes. Dio Lite is equipped with 14 inches of wheels up front and back to maintain stability on various road surface conditions.

The braking system relies on the front disk combined with Combi Brake, helping to distribute braking power more evenly, thereby increasing safety factors. To support daily needs, Honda embeds the lower trunk of the seat with a capacity of 17 liters which is sufficient to carry essential equipment.

This scooter is also equipped with a magnetic Shutter Key with an integrated seat opener and neck locking function. In addition, the manufacturer also includes middle and side standards so that users are more flexible when parking.

What stole the attention was the kitchen runway, Dio Lite 2025 relied on the 109 cc SSP engine which had been widely used on other Honda models. This machine is combined with Idling Stop and ACG Starter to provide a smooth and efficient driving experience.

Its power is limited to 3.7 kW, but still presents sufficient torque for daily needs, including when crossing the hiking trail. For fuel consumption, this bike is capable of recording 56.6 km/liter according to WMTC standards, making it one of the most efficient in its class.
