Kawasaki W230 Ready To Launch Early 2026, Carry Classic Retro Style

JAKARTA - Kawasaki is preparing the presence of W230 as its newest retro motorbike which will start marketing in early 2026 in England. This model was developed as a tribute to W1 650 which launched in 1965.

Reporting from Visordown, Tuesday, November 18, this motorbike brings a classic feel combined with modern technology. By design, W230 carries a light and low retro look.

The style in the 60s was emphasized through a simple framework, round lights, and a low seat that gave the position of leisurely driving. Kawasaki said the character of the motorbike was made friendly for various levels of experience of motorists.

W230 is equipped with a one-cylindrical engine with a capacity of 233 cc with a fuel injection system. The peak power reaches 17.3 bhp at 7,000 rpm, while the torque is at 13.7 lb-ft at 5,800 rpm.

The character of this machine is finely designed and easy to control. The braking system relies on a 265 mm front disk with a two-piston timesper, as well as a 220mm back disk with a one-piston timesper.

The seat height is only 745 mm, making it accessible easily, while the dry weight is about 133 kg. The legit clearance of this motorbike reaches 150 mm, then the fuel tank capacity reaches 12 liters.

In England, Kawasaki set an initial price of ~4,654. Kawasaki W230 will premiere at the MCL25 event in NEC Birmingham and will go on sale in January 2026.
