Suzuki SV-7GX Launches, Rely On V-Twin Machines And Modern Touring Features

JAKARTA Suzuki introduced SV-7GX, a new sport-touring motor designed to provide a balance between performance and long-distance driving convenience. This model comes as the successor to Suzuki's legendary V-twin engine character which has been known to be responsive and easy to control.

The Japanese manufacturer, known for its adventurous motors, such as SV650 and V-Strom 650, has turned its classic V-twin platform into something completely new through SV-7GX. SV-7GX is equipped with a 90-degree V-twin engine with a capacity of 645 cc/

The engine produces about 73 PS at 8,500 rpm and a 64 Nm peak torque at 6,800 rpm. This machine is combined with a shuttle ride by wire system, three driving modes, three-level traction control, and a two-way quick-shifter to improve driving experience in various conditions.

Reporting from Rideapart, Monday, November 10, if all these features are controlled by Intelligent Ride System (SIRS) Suzuki. You also get various daily conveniences such as Low RPM Assist and Easy Start, so they remain friendly on highways and on traffic.

In terms of construction, Suzuki uses a rigid but light steel trellis framework. The front suspension uses a 41 mm telescopic fork, while the back is supported by a monoshock that can be set preload.

The height of the 795 mm seat makes this motor more accessible, while the wet weight of about 211 kilograms provides a balance between stability and agility. The 17.4 liter fuel tank allows a distance of more than 400 kilometers in one charge.

The braking power comes from the front double disk with ABS, which is combined with a back single disk for stable and predictable braking. Modern features also complement SV-7GX, including a 4.2-inch color TFT screen that supports phone connectivity through the Suzuki Ride Connect+ application.

There is also a USB-C port, as well as an LED lighting system. For touring needs, this motorbike is equipped with tunable windshields, handguards, and rear shelves to install boxes or carry goods.

Suzuki puts SV-7GX in the middle class sports-tourer segment which has recently become increasingly in demand. This motorbike is scheduled to start attending the global market in 2026. It comes in the colors Pearl Brilliant White/Metallic Triton Blue, Pearl Mat Greige, and Glassaire Black.
