JAKARTA - For adventure motorcycle lovers, the Yamaha Tenere 700 World Raid is often the main choice thanks to the various advantages offered. Now the 2026 model has come with an extraordinary increase, new premium components to the latest technology.

This one bike is equipped with a 689cc CP2 parallel twin engine that now meets the Euro5+ standard. Yamaha claims that this machine is capable of providing a better low-end torque upgrade and thrust response, especially at slower speeds.

Revised air intake systems that increase low-speed power shipments make bicycles more responsive off the road and more easily controllable on uneven terrain.

The engine has been updated to comply with the latest Euro5+ emission regulations, but instead of reducing performance, thanks to its redesigned air intake, it has resulted in a lower rpm torque increase for better slow speed retrieval, particularly useful for low speed offroad driving. , wrote Yamaha Motor Australia, quoted from its official website, Monday, October 27.

For the 2026 model, this also introduces the Yamaha Chip Controlled-Throttle (YCC-T) system, which is pinned by two driving modes, namely Sport for acceleration and Explorer for smoother thrust responses that are suitable for off-road or slippery surfaces. Drivers can switch between modes while driving.

Meanwhile, the New 6-axis Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) presents traction control, shear control, ABS cornering, and brake control, adjusting the response to various terrains. The system has three modes: Street, Off-Road, and Off. Yamaha has also added an ABS switch specifically for rapid adjustment, allowing motorists to disable the back or both brakes while handling while on the off-road field.

The bike now displays a new repositioned coupling actuation mechanism for better footspace, and an updated gearbox with a finer engagement. It has a lighter 23 liter double tank system, which uses aluminum, making it 1.5 kg lighter. In fact, it is capable of providing a range of nearly 500 km further ensuring long-distance travel without frequently refueling.

The newly added KYB suspension system is fully customizable designed to provide increased comfort and control over challenging surfaces. The front uses 46mm forks with Kashima coating to reduce friction, while the rear monoshocks gain extra five millimeters of travel, and increase heat disposal.

Many features embedded such as the 6.3-inch TFT instrument cluster are also vertically aligned for optimal visibility in both driving positions. The system supports smartphone connectivity through the MyRide Yamaha app, allowing drivers to access Google-backed calls, messages, music, and turns-by-turn navigation.

Yamaha offers more than 60 accessories, including protective parts, fog light seats, baggage systems, and dropping gear, to better adjust the bike to your needs.
