JAKARTA Honda officially introduced a limited edition of CBR1000RR-R Fireblade SP Dean Harrison Replica, which was specially made to honor the achievements of British highway racer Dean Harrison, at the Isle of Man TT. This motorbike is only produced as many as 12 units.

This replica carries a design and color that is synonymous with Harrison's racing bike when he scored two wins in the Superstock TT class. That includes the fastest lap record of up to 135.692 mph which places him as the third fastest lap racer in the history of the legendary event.

Technically, this motorcycle base still relies on a standard SP Fireblade equipped with an inline four-cylinder engine with a capacity of 999 cc with a throttle-by-wire system, a S-EC03 firehlins suspension, and a Brembo Styleme R brake. The aerodynamic features inspired by MotoGP are also maintained, making this motor not only look aggressive, but also high performance on track.

However, Dean Harrison Replica's edition received special treatment with a number of exclusive accessories and details. Among them, full racing livery, single-numbered rack head plates, GB Racing engine protectors, Evotech radiator protectors, brake lever protectors, and rear seat covers with the HRC logo.

Honda also equipped this bike with Metzeler tires and various official accessories that made it appear more authentic like the original racing version. Dean Harrison expressed his pride in the project.

This year is a very special moment for me. Our Fireblade bike is getting better every session, and the fourth and fifth wins at TT are something extraordinary. I am honored that Honda UK produced a replica of the motorbike that we developed and brought to the podium twice," he said, quoted from Visordown, Thursday, October 23.

Meanwhile, Head of the Racing and Development Division of Honda UK, Neil Fletcher, said that this project is a form of appreciation for Harrison's outstanding performance at the Isle of Man TT. He believes the 12 lucky consumers who own this motorbike will be very satisfied with their purchases.

The limited edition of CBR1000RR-R Fireblade SP Dean Harrison Replica is priced at 26,749 pounds, or equivalent to Rp550 million. This motorbike is only sold through the official Honda UK network and is expected to be the target of high-performance superbike collectors and fans around the world.
