JAKARTA - TVS, an automotive manufacturer from India, continues to spread its wings by launching the Apache RTX. This motorbike comes in three variants starting from Base, Top, and BTO.

Quoting from India's Autocar page, Friday, October 17, the Apache RTX is positioned as an adventurer motor, not dedicated specifically to offroads and designed for use on paved roads with adequate flexibility.

Built on a steel trellis framework, this bike has a ground clearance of up to 200 mm. The motorbike also uses 19 inches of front wheels and 17 inches behind, wrapped in tires that TVS says have been specially designed.

Speaking of convenience, this motorbike is equipped with a braking of the disk combined with the ABS dual channel. RTX also has a seat height of 835 mm and an empty weight of 180 kg.

In terms of features, this bike is equipped with impressive equipment. The model offers four driving modes of Urban, Rain, Tour, and Rally that change ABS settings and traction controls. Cruise control is present as the standard in all variants.

In higher specification variants, a 5-inch TFT screen with a dedicated switch provides access to main functions and when connected via the SmartXonnect TVS app, also allows the mirror of Google Maps and other connected features.

TVS also partnered with Givi for various touring accessories, including panniers, top boxes, and tank bags. In addition, as part of a sustainable collaboration with Alpinestars, TVS will launch a new line of impressive adventure driving equipment.

Speaking of heartburn, the RTX Apache TVS is powered by a new RT-XD4 299cc engine which was first introduced in MotoSoul 2024. This machine produces 36 hp of power at 9,000 rpm and 28.5 Nm of torque at 7,000 rpm. This machine is paired with 6-speed gyrboks and is equipped with a two-way quickshifter.
