CUV E: Domination Of Honda Electric Motor Sales Of Up To 60 Percent

JAKARTA - PT Astra Honda Motor (AHM) has various electric motor line-ups, ranging from EM1 e: EM1 e: Plus, ICON e: and there is CUV e: which comes with the concept of a futuristic premium design.

According to AHM Marketing Director Octavianus Dwi, the composition of Honda's own electric motorcycle sales is currently dominated by the CUV model e: instead of the first model, namely EM1 e: and EM1 e: Plus.

"Right now, if you look at it, the most sales are CUV e: because CUV e: that's what the range is already far away, then the battery is double right," he said, when met at the IMOS exhibition at ICE BSD, Tangerang, recently.

He further said, talking about the composition of sales for the CUV e model: it could reach 60-70 percent of Honda's total electric motorcycle sales.

"In terms of sales composition, maybe 60' 70 percent of our total sales. The rest are Icon e: and EM1 e:," he added.

As is known some time ago, Honda had poured a fairly large discount for the CUV e: electric motor. Even the price of the Honda CUV e: in July 2025 it became around Rp. 19 million (including batteries), from the normal price of Rp. 54.45 million.

In specifications, Honda CUV e: powered by electric motors that can generate power of 6 kW. This electric motorbike can go up to 83 km/hour with a maximum distance of 80.7 km.

The power source comes from two Honda Mobile Power Pack e: which can be swab (exchanged) or self-charged with an off-board charger. Honda CUV e: equipped with a lithium-ion battery with a voltage of 50.26 V x 2 and a capacity of 29.4 Ah x 2. Charging the battery from empty to full takes 6 hours and 2.7 hours (160 minutes) to charge from 25 to 75 percent.

There are three driving modes on this motorbike, namely ECON, STD, and Sport. The supporting equipment embedded is a USB type-C charger located on a console box for charging cell phones.
