JAKARTA - Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) announced the recall or recall for the CRF1100L African Twin adventure motorcycle model.

Quoting from the Autocar India website, Tuesday, September 16, the withdrawal affected the units produced between 2019 and 2025, which were caused by the left side of the hardness switch cable.

The company says that continuous steering movement can cause the left hard switch cable to bend repeatedly. This condition can certainly endanger the user himself or other drivers.

Over time, this can cause oxidation in the connection terminal, which results in issues such as horns not working or difficulty diverting the headlights from low light to high lights.

Affected parts replacements will be carried out free of charge, regardless of warranty status, at BigWing Topline Honda dealers across India. The campaign will begin in the fourth week of January 2026.

Customers will be contacted directly by telephone or email. They can also check whether their motorbike is part of the recall by entering the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) on the Honda website.
