JAKARTA - TVS added to its electric motor lineup in India by recently launching the Orbiter model, which is priced at 99,000 rupees or around Rp. 18 million.

Quoting from the Autocariandia page, Monday, September 1, this electric motor comes in one variant with a battery capacity of 3.1 kWh which can cover a distance of 158 km in IDC count.

TVS has yet to reveal the specifications of the Orbiter powertrain on its website, but has confirmed that the scooter's highest speed will be limited to 68 km/hour.

In detail, TVS has equipped Orbiters with 14-inch front wheels and 12-inch rear wheels, following in the footsteps of River Indie and Ola S1 Z which offer larger front wheels.

On paper, larger front wheels can indeed increase scrolling barriers (and potentially reduce efficiency), but this will improve stability and provide this scooter with a distinctive and attractive look.

From a technology perspective, Orbiter is equipped with connected technology through a mobile application that provides a new experience for users. Drivers will also have access to Eco and Power modes, hill-hold assistance, parking assistance (resignal function), and cruise control.

From the outward view, Orbiters carry the minimal design of boxes with less lines flowing. The large single side panel starts from the front apron and blends towards the tail, providing a distinctive side profile. On the front, there is an LED headlights mounted on the handlebar, equipped with a RoboCop-style LED light strip along the apron, a design similar to Jupiter's TVS.
