Launching Next Year, Royal Enfield Flying Flee C6 Electric Motor Begins To Be Tested In The Culam Mountains

JAKARTA After months of leaking photos, Royal Enfield finally officially released a video showing its electric motorcycle, Flying Flee C6 in a test drive to extreme areas.

The video shows intensive testing in India in the Leh mountain area, Ladakh, as this tiny motor devoured steep inclines, sharp derivations, and sharp bends, proving performance far beyond expectations.

Quoting Rideapart, Monday, August 25, the name Flying Flea itself has a long history. In World War II, Royal Enfield built a small, light enough motorcycle to be dropped by parachute to the battlefield. This new C6 model adopts the same concept, which is designed to be a small, lightweight, and practical vehicle. This motorbike is not made as a substitute for iconic models such as Bullet or Classic, but as a city-friendly commuter that can complement their product lineup.

In the video, the pilot driver drives it in Eco and Sport mode, even with passengers. As a result, Flying Flee C6 is able to maintain speed at the incline and does not show a break in energy, an impressive achievement given the very challenging terrain. Although it is often seen, the use of camouflage in this motor body actually feels strange, as if Royal Enfield deliberately wants to prolong curiosity.

Technically, the Flying Flee C6 is confirmed to be built on the aluminum-magnesium frame with a magnesium wrapped battery. The motor uses an 18-inch rim and a girder-style front fork as a tribute to the classic Royal Enfield design. The round-shaped TFT dashboard is equipped with Bluetooth connectivity, navigation, and advanced features such as traction control, ABS cornering, cruise control, and keys.

Royal Enfield has not officially released performance figures, but this bike is expected to have the equivalent of a 125 to 150cc gasoline motor. This makes sense considering the goal of becoming an agile motorbike without requiring a massive battery pack.

Royal Enfield stated that the Flying Flee C6 will not be launched until the beginning of 2026. A scrambler-style version called S6 will follow afterwards. The price is also still kept secret.
