Two New LiveWire Electric Motor Concepts On Harley-Davidson Homecoming

JAKARTA The electric motorcycle brand from Harley-Davidson, LiveWire has made another breakthrough by introducing two of its newest electric motorcycle concepts in the official Harley-Davidson Homecoming event in Wisconsin, United States. Both concepts promise an exciting future for electric mobility, with one of them focusing on off-road performance.

Through uploads on social media, reported by Visordown, Wednesday, July 16, LiveWire revealed that the two new motors will be equivalent to a 125cc capacity gasoline motor. Although the details are still minimal, it is clear that one model is designed for the use of the highway (street version), while the others will be more suitable to bulldoze the trail and off-road terrain.

Promising Initial Performance

LiveWire has provided a little leak about the capabilities of these two concepts. Both will most likely have a seat height of about 762mm. The company also confirmed that in "initial testing," the motor is capable of reaching a speed of 30 mph (about 48 km/h) in just three seconds. Its peak speed is estimated at 53 mph (about 85 km/hour) with an estimated range of about 100 miles (about 160 km). Uniquely, these two motors will be powered by two exchangeable batteries, offering greater flexibility for motorists.

LiveWire describes the vision behind these two models. "The trail model is meant to drive in the backyard, pump track, or even on farms or campgrounds," said LiveWire. Meanwhile, "street models are perfect for urban tasks, new riders, mini-moto fans, and anyone looking for a new hobby in the form of an easy-to-adjust and easy-to-approximate electric motor experience." The initial design of the trail variant is also expected to be of interest to supermoto fans.
