Any Price Adjustment During CKD Motorcycle Rakit? This Is QJMotor's Answer

JAKARTA - Zhejiang Qujing Motorcycle Co, Ltd or commonly called QJMotor plans to produce his motorcycle in Indonesia or Completely Knocked-Down (CKD).

The brand from China has confirmed that it will utilize a factory located in Deltamas City, Cikarang, West Java and plans to start operations in the middle of this year.

VP of Branding & Marketing Communication of QJMotor Indonesia, Budi Kurniawan said that when the factory operates, its products will get price adjustments to adjust the existing local content.

"Of course the price adjustment remains every year and we both know that CKD has local content there," Budi said when met by the media in Kemayoran, Jakarta, Friday, February 21.

Unfortunately, he has not been able to reveal further details regarding the price change on this motorbike. However, Budi added that the product to be assembled locally is a 250 cc engine line that has now been sold in Indonesia. "What is certain is that 250 cc has a plan to carry out CKD," added Budi.

As an initial step in footing in Indonesia, manufacturers released models such as SRK 800 RR, SRV 600 V Cruiser, Fort 250, and SRV 250 AMT.

For the Indonesian market, QJMotor offers four motorbikes at prices ranging from Rp29 million for Fort 250, Rp59 million for SRV 250 AMT, Rp179 million for SRV 600 V, and SRK 800 RR at Rp249 million.
