JAKARTA - The more advanced the technology, the more sophisticated the motorcycle helmet is now and is "connected". CES 2025's annual technology party just ended in Las Vegas, United States, possibly having presented helmets with the most advanced technology so far.
Launching Visordown, Monday, January 13, the helmet that appears at CES is named iC-R, with an "iC" abbreviated to its creator, Intelligent Cranium Helmets, and "R" marking it as the product with the highest specifications in the ranks of this new brand.
The helmet is designed to reduce user dependence on the phone with an additional Bluetooth system, and action cameras, iC-R comes in direct ready-to-use form from the box and a very wide list of features.
For starters, the iC-R is equipped with a travel recording, with an action camera of 1080p, 60fps mounted on the front, while the two rear cameras provide 240-degree view riders of their surroundings.
To display its appearance to motorists is a built-in Heads-Up Display (HUD) featuring customizable brightness, navigation, and integration of Android Auto and Apple Carplay. The HUD can also be configured to display speed and other important information, meaning the driver must be able to keep an eye on the road.

One of the increasingly popular features among motorcyclists is the ability of motorbikes, or additional devices, to detect when an accident occurs, and if necessary make an emergency call to ask for help. It is also a feature of iC-R, while its sensors can also provide real-time awareness of obstacles with audio alerts. As users expect, this new helmet also provides Bluetooth connectivity to motorists, which means calls, music, and directional clues can be configured.
Usually with helmets like this made by tech companies and not helmet manufacturers, it's product security that can thwart the interest of some people. But the helmets themselves have received DOT certification, while ECE and Snell testing is underway and is coming to an end.
So, the big question is, how much is the price of the most sophisticated motorcycle helmet in the world? Well, this is not cheap, one is priced at 1,381 pounds or the equivalent of Rp. 27.5 million.
