Yamaha R15M And MT-15 Get New Livery Typical Of MotoGP

JAKARTA - India's Yamaha Motor presents the R15M and MT-15 models with a new touch, namely the MotoGP livery or Monster Energy Edition and becomes an exclusive model for the local market.

Quoting from Rushlane's website, Thursday, September 19, this special livery welcomes the celebration of the MotoGP which will take place on September 20-22 tomorrow, and is part of the company's 'The Call of the Blue' campaign, and the model will be available across the Yamaha dealer network.

For the price, the R15M MotoGP Edition is priced at 198,900 rupees or around Rp36 million, besides that for MT-15 it is at 173,400 rupees or around Rp31.7 million. Realizing the essence of Yamaha racing heritage, this model inspired by MotoGP provides a special pattern such as in the fuel tank section to the side panel which gets a special pattern.

There is no change in mechanics, thus the R15M model still carries the 155 cc SOCH 4 engine which produces 18.4 ps of power at 10,000 rpm and the maximum torque reaches 14.2 Nm at 7,500 rpm. And it is still equipped with complete features including Bluetooth connectivity, colored TFT instrument cluster, traction control, variable valve drive, and reverse fork.

In addition, the MT-15 model still uses a 155 cc one liquid-cooled cylinder which offers 18.1 hp and 14.2 Nm torque power. The machine is paired with a gearbox 6 acceleration and double ABS channel is offered as standard.

Previously, Indian Yamaha earlier this month also introduced a carbon fiber pattern graphics Yamaha R15M 2024, and is also equipped with various feature updates.
