Electric Motors From Suzuki Will Use Planted Batteries, Starting Production At The End Of This Year

JAKARTA - Suzuki is rumored to be presenting an electric motor with a growing battery system, and starting production in December 2024 in India.

According to a report from Autocar India, quoted on Wednesday, July 10, the electric motor from Suzuki will use a planting battery unlike the e-Burgman, which was caught on camera several times using a swap battery.

Suzuki's first electric motor was coded XF091, as production is likely at the end of the year its launch is predicted to take place in the first quarter of 2025. Suzuki itself projects an annual volume of 25,000 units for this e-scooter.

Meanwhile, according to a report from Gaadi Waadi, Suzuki's first electric motor was not e-Burgman. According to sources, the Japanese brand has prepared the first electric vehicle to be developed with engineers in Japan.

Previously, for the past 2 years Suzuki had tested e-Brugman, but in accordance with new changes in the strategy of electric Burgman launch companies being postponed and switched to e-Access with a larger market. Suzuki e-Access is an electric version of the Access model.

Not without reason, Suzuki e-Access itself has been marketed in many countries, and its electric version will most likely carry the same look as its gasoline version.

"Regarding aspects such as design and shape, Suzuki will use the same approach as in e-Burgman," the report reads.

Unfortunately, until this news was made the specifications and the price had not been leaked, but it is estimated that the first electric motor will be priced at an affordable price.

Of course, this is good news, considering that currently the motorbikes from Suzuki in Indonesia, including the 125 EX Burgman Street, are Completely Built Up (CBU) from India. Will this one electric motorbike also greet the Indonesian market?
