The IIMS Surabaya Event Recorded Visitors, Sales Reached 1,147 Vehicle Units

JAKARTA - Dyandra Promosindo managed to successfully organize a series of Surabaya's Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS) events, attracting extraordinary enthusiasm from visitors.

IIMS Surabaya runs from May 29 to June 2, 2024 at Grand City Convex, Surabaya recorded a total of 28,234 visitors, exceeding expectations and showing a 12 percent increase compared to 2023.

In addition to the increase in the number of visitors, IIMS Surabaya also recorded significant sales. A total of 1,147 vehicles were successfully sold during the exhibition, with a total transaction of 247 billion rupiah. This figure shows a high interest from the public in the automotive products on display.

A significant increase in transactions and the number of visitors shows that IIMS Surabaya has become an icon of the automotive exhibition in this region and a trusted platform for the people of East Java to transact automotively," said Project Manager IIMS 2024, Rudi MF, in his statement, Wednesday, June 12.

IIMS Surabaya 2024 features 26 brands of four-wheeled and two-wheeled vehicles, as well as several supporting participants. The four-wheeled vehicle brands participating include BYD, Chery, Daihatsu, Honda, MINI, Morris Garage (MG), Toyota, UMC Suzuki, Wuling, Seres, and Subaru. In the class of two-wheeled vehicles, participants include Aprilia, Benelli, Gasgas, Husqvarna, KTM, Keeway, Moto Guzzi, Piaggio, Royal Enfield, and Vespa. Meanwhile, electric vehicles present include Alva Auto, Pacific E-Series, United E-Motor, Volta, and ZPT Electric Vehicle. Automotive support industries such as Chemical Guys, Motoparts, Thule, and Von Dutch are also present.

Other automotive ecosystems also provide support, including the ITS Automotive Team, PMK Service, MGPA, as well as the community of car and motorcycle clubs. Electric-based vehicle trends are one of the highlights in this exhibition. PLN Indonesia also participated in introducing the universal SPKLU charger (General Electric Vehicle Charging Station) in the EV Experience and test drive areas. PLN also provides a home charging service program.
