Yamaha Aerox S Launches In India, Comes With Smart Keyless

JAKARTA - Yamaha is expanding its list of best-selling models, Aerox in India by launching the Aerox Version S which comes with smart keys or keyless, and the price is more expensive 3,000 rupees or IDR 580 thousand from the standard variant in India.

Quoting from India's Autocar page, Thursday, April 18, the S version of Yamaha Aerox was launched at a price of 150,100 rupees or the range of Rp29 million which is only available in Silver and Racing Blue color choices.

Actually, the keyless version of Aerox has been around for a long time in Indonesia, more precisely Aerox S Version which already uses the Smart Key System feature, stop start system (SSS) aka keyless. Currently there are only three models offered in the country, namely Aerox Connected, Cybercity, and Standards.

Back to Aerox in India, Version S is one of the few scooters to get a unlock at this price point, the other is the H Smart variant of the Honda scooter lineup.

This feature can be used to turn on the motorcycle engine and lock it. In addition, there is also a special button next to the button to open the fuel cap if you want to access it, and there is a button to open the motorcycle seat.

Smart Key functionality on AEROX 155 Version S seamlessly integrates advanced comfort, security and technology, offering smoother and more enjoyable travel in today's bustling urban landscapes.

Even though it comes more expensive, Aerox version S mechanically remains the same as the standard version carrying the Blue Core 155cc engine with the LC4V SOCH VVA engine.
