Bajaj Will Launch The Latest Premium Chetak Electric Scooter, Equipped With An Interesting Feature

JAKARTA - Bajaj Auto will launch the latest Premium model Chetak electric motorcycle with several interesting improvements ranging from features to travel distances in January 2024.

Quoted from the Autocar India website, Wednesday, January 2, the current Chetak ranks cover two variants, namely Urbane and Premium, but both have features that are not much different.

With the launch of the updated Premium Chetak, Bajaj is likely to expand the gap between the two variants. Chetak Urbane will remain a more affordable and fundamental version, while the updated Premium Chetak will present more expensive and feature-rich options.

Based on information from the company, the launch of the updated Premium Chetak will take place on January 5. In addition, they also posted a teaser image showing parts of the scooter, including a clear display on the new TFT screen.

From the teaser images shared by the company via social media, it can be seen that this updated scooter will get Bluetooth connectivity, and the screen will display driving mode and also some other information.

At first glance there is nothing different from the design offered for this renewal model, which still looks modern. It's just that the powertrain system and its battery have yet to be revealed.

Currently, the Premium Chessak gets a 2.9kWh battery which is claimed to be able to cover a distance of 108 km. Most likely the distance will be increased by 113 km. The price issue has not yet been announced, it is estimated that it will be notified to the public at the time of launch.
