Indonesia Becomes Global Debut of E4, the First Premium Electric SUV

JAKARTA - Indonesia was chosen as the world's first stage to introduce Lepas E4, the first pure electric SUV from Lepas that made its global debut.

The arrival of the E4 in Indonesia marks a new phase of the company's journey in bringing forward a future of smart, elegant, and sustainable mobility, designed for urban consumers who make vehicles part of their lifestyle and personal expression.

More than just a product introduction, the debut of Lepas E4 reflects the company's commitment to building an identity as a premium New Energy Vehicle (NEV) brand that looks ahead. Deputy Director of Lepas Business Unit, Ricky He, said the introduction of R4 at IIMS is an important step in Lepas' journey in the era of electrification.

"After L4, it is not only the world's first EV, but also a representation of our long-term direction in providing smart, elegant, and sustainable mobility. Indonesia has a strategic role in this journey, as a market that understands design, modern lifestyle, and premium value," he said, in his speech, at the IIMS 2026 exhibition, Kemayoran, Jakarta, Thursday, February 5.

The presence of the E4 Lepas is a manifestation of the vision of "Electrification, the Lepas Way", an approach that views electrification not merely as the adoption of technology, but as a new language in defining future mobility.

Each Lepas vehicle is developed to provide a balance between innovation, comfort, and confidence in everyday use to create a driving experience that feels relevant, calm, and classy.
