JAKARTA - The Mitsubishi Delica Mini is a Japanese kei car that is quite popular because it combines the proportions of a charming box design with a dashing appearance.

This car was transformed by Damd Kanvas into a more interesting modified version, named Dali (Dakar Rally). The model is built based on the latest version of the Delica Mini, as quoted from the Carscoops website, Wednesday, December 31.

The changes include a retro-style front view, new graphics, and a number of accessories that are placed proportionally. All these elements blend with the aesthetics of an off-road car without deviating too much from the kei car character.

The main feature of this modification is the use of a round main lamp with a separate indicator inspired by the first generation Pajero. In addition, the black doffed front lamp casing is connected to a box-shaped grille, complete with a special hole for the original Mitsubishi emblem which also houses the ADAS sensor.

Damd retained the factory-installed front bumper panel, then added a special black-coated decoration and aluminum accents. This touch changes the appearance without sacrificing the presence of standard sensors and cooling channels.

All the new components do not change the dimensions of the vehicle, with a length of 3,395 mm and a width of 1,475 mm. The original beige color is also maintained, combined with a set of special stickers with a matte black nuance and wood-style inserts on the sides.

For the feet, this car uses 15-inch Damd Cantabile rims wrapped in 165/56R15 tires, providing additional grip on its tiny body. The roof basket also completes the exterior look, while the interior changes are still in development. New upholstery is planned to be present to perfect the overall changes.

In terms of performance, the specifications remain standard for the manufacturer. The most powerful version of the Delica Mini relies on a 660 cc turbo three-cylinder engine that produces 63 hp of power and 100 Nm of torque. The engine is combined with a CVT transmission and a permanent 4WD drive system on certain variants.

Damd said all of these modification components are in the final development stage and will soon be available in Japan. Although the price has not been announced, the company hinted that the price tag will remain affordable and will be exhibited at the 2026 Tokyo Auto Salon.
