AUDI E Luxury SUV Debuts In Guangzhou Auto Show With 700 Km Tempuh Distance

JAKARTA - The partnership between Audi and SAIC gave birth to a new innovation with the AUDI E SUV concept appearing at Auto Guangzhou 2025, which seems to be entering production.

Posited as a large electric-powered premium SUV, the production version of the concept will debut next year as the second model in the AUDI brand, with sales scheduled to start the same year.

"We have adjusted our strategy in China for the future. As a result, with our two partners, FAW and SAIC, as well as two brands, the biggest model initiative in the history of our company is getting stronger," said AUDI CEO AG Gernot D\"ollner, quoted from his official website, Tuesday, November 25.

CEO of the Audi and SAIC cooperation, Ferm calms Soneira, revealed that the AUDI E SUV Concept celebrates the new AUDI brand's first anniversary after the debut of the E-concept in Guangzhou.

"This concept features the distinctive AUDI design language that gives this SUV a prestigious and progressive impression without compromise between sports aesthetics and interior or flexibility," he said.

With a length of 5,057 mm, a width of 2,042 mm, a height of 1,786 mm, and a wheelbase of 3,060 mm, the AUDI E SUV concept is positioned as a large electric-powered premium SUV.

The SUV combines futuristic SUV designs, Audi-type driving dynamics, and quattro traction with first-class driving comfort and comprehensive digital connectivity.

Two electric motors, one in the front guard and one in the rear guard, generate a total power of 500 kW. Combined with the driving of all quattro wheels, this SUV is capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/hour in about five seconds.

With the AUDI 360 Driving Assist System, the AUDI E SUV concept is equipped with an innovative driver assistance system specifically designed for China. Adjusted to traffic conditions and driving scenarios in China, this system allows for a relaxed and safe driving experience on toll roads, in the midst of heavy city traffic, and when parking with help.

Vehicles of this concept equipped with a 109 kWh battery, which allows for a range of more than 700 kilometers, are calculated according to CLTC. The 800-volt architecture of the Advanced Digitized Platform can recharge up to 320 kilometers in ten minutes at fast charging stations.
