Geely Releases EX2 Price At GJAW 2025, Only IDR 200 Million

Geely took advantage of the 2025 Gaikindo Jakarta Auto Week (GJAW) event to announce the official prices of two of its newest electric car variants, EX2 Max and EX2 Pro. The introduction of this price is an important step for Geely in strengthening penetration in the Indonesian electric vehicle market (EV), especially in the entry-level segment which is now increasingly competitive.

Sales and Channel Director of Geely Auto Indonesia Constantinus Herlijoso, stated that the launch of this price marks the company's commitment to presenting electric vehicles that are more accessible to the public.

"With EX2's presence in Indonesia, we want to provide an affordable choice of electric vehicles but still prioritize quality and security," he said at the launch session at ICE BSD City, Friday, November 21.

In the official announcement, Geely marketed two EX2 variants with a special price scheme that has taken into account government incentives for electric vehicles. EX2 Max is marketed at a pre-incentive price of IDR 299,500,000 and becomes IDR 273,000,000 after incentives.

Meanwhile, EX2 Pro is priced at IDR 255,900,000 before incentive, and decreased to IDR 233,000,000 after incentives.

In addition to price adjustments, consumers also get a number of additional benefits during the 2025 GJAW.

The incentive includes a direct discount of IDR 5 million or leasing subsidies through financing partners, as well as a choice of special color options for free that only apply during exhibitions.

With this price strategy, Geely hopes EX2 can be an attractive alternative for people who want to switch to electric vehicles without having to pay a big fee.
