Exeed ET5 Officially Paving, Prices Start At IDR 376 Million With A Range Of 1,310 Km

JAKARTA Extended, a subbrand from Chery, officially opened the envelope of the ET5 SUV targeting young families in China. This Extended Range Electric Vehicle (EREV) technology model comes in two variants with a banderol starting at 159,900 yuan or around Rp376 million.

Citing CNevpost, Monday, November 17, this SUV carries the name ET which stands for Enjoy Time, reflecting its vision of providing a premium mobility experience and fun for modern families.

In terms of dimensionality, Exeed ET5 has a length of 4,780 mm, a width of 1,890 mm, and a height of 1,720 mm, with a wheelbase of 2,800 mm. This car is also the first model equipped with a 6P Journey chip from Horizon Robotics as well as an HSD smart driving system (Horizon SuperDrive) with a computational power of up to 560 TOPS. The highest variant is already equipped with a LiDAR sensor, while the entry-level variant is not.

For the driving heart, ET5 relies on a 1.5T engine as a range expander with a maximum output of 115 kW. This car uses a rear wheel drive configuration with a 195 kW single motor capable of accelerating 0100 km/h in 7.6 seconds.

The lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery with a capacity of 32.66 kWh made by Gotion High-tech provides a distance of 210 kilometers based on CLTC standards. If the fuel tank and battery are fully charged, the total reach of the Exeed ET5 reaches 1,310 kilometers (CLTC).

The model also supports fast charging, allowing charging from 30 percent to 80 percent in just 15 minutes.

When officially marketed, the car, which debuted at the Chengdu Auto Show 2025 at the end of August, will face BYD Song Plus DM-i as its main competitor.
