Chery Launches Fulwin A9L AWD With A Tempuh Distance Capability Of 2,500 Km

JAKARTA Chery officially introduced its newest flagship sedan, Fulwin A9L AWD PHEV for the Chinese market. Interestingly, this car is claimed to be able to cover a combined distance of more than 2,500 km.

The exterior design features aerodynamic character with 0.23 Cd air drag coefficients. This efficiency was achieved thanks to the use of hidden door handles and clean body lines.

The dimensions reached a length of 5,018 mm, a width of 1,965 mm, a height of 1,500 mm, and a wheelbase of 3,000 mm. Fulwin A9L comes with a four-seat configuration that emphasizes the cabin room more spacious.

Entering the cabin, Chery provides premium nuances through a full LCD instrument panel, a two-spoillary multifunction steering wheel, a floating-type touch screen, and wireless charging.

The back row seat has separate control for ventilation, heating, and massage, stressing its focus on passenger comfort. The car is equipped with a CDM 6.0 Super Hybrid Kunpeng plug-in hybrid system, combining 1.5T gasoline engines and electric motors, as reported by Carnewschina, Monday, November 17.

For performance, the 1.5T engine produces a peak power of 115 kW. The variant with a single electric motor offers output of up to 275 kW or the equivalent of 374 dk with a torque of 530 Nm, combined with a DHT Pro hybrid transmission.

The 'square blaze' battery with a capacity of 33.67 kWh allows the distance of electric mode up to 260 km. This means that the combination distance is claimed to exceed 2,500 km.

In terms of safety, this car is equipped with LiDAR systems as well as Falcon 500 and Falcon 700 driver assistance technology, with increasing semi-autonomous and security capabilities in various road conditions. Fulwin A9L is a flagship model under the Chery Fulwin line and will be marketed globally under the name Exeed ES7, for prices priced between 181,900 to 236,900 yuan.
